I work with individuals struggling with compulsive overeating, binge
eating, emotional eating or just obsessive thinking about their body,
food and/or weight. Most of the women I work with have tried every form
of diet available and are looking for a lasting solution. Many are fed up
with dieting and just want to have a normal relationship with food and
their body. When we have tried everything over and over with the same
results, and are sick and tired of the merry-go-round, we finally begin to
think "There must be another way." Learning to change our thinking is
a way that creates lasting weight maintenance and a positive
self-image.
I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your
feelings and emotions. I offer individual one-on-one sessions, phone
sessions and group work. All combine counseling with guided imagery.
