I work with individuals struggling with compulsive over
eating, binge eating, or just obsessive thinking about
their body, food, and or weight.
Most of the women I work with have tried every form
of diet that is available and are looking for a lasting
solution. Many are fed up with dieting and are just
wanting to have a normal relationship with food and
their body. When we have tried everything over and
over again with the same results, and are sick and
tired of the merry-go-round, we finally begin to think
"There must be another way." Learning to change
our thinking in a way that creates lasting weight
maintenance and a positive self-image is another way.
I offer individual one on one sessions and some group
work. Individual and group sessions last for one to
one and a half hours. Both combine counseling with
guided imagery.
Phone sessions are also available and last for thirty
minutes to one hour.
